Un peu plus au sujet d’ArohaFest
Co-presented by the National Arts Centre and Aroha Fine Arts, ArohaFest Diwali Celebration is the only bilingual festival featuring the music, dance, visual, and culinary arts of India in Canada.
Enjoy free activities such as Kathak dance pop-ups, Bollywood, Lavani, and Bhangra dance workshops, immersive music concerts, a visual arts exhibit, as well as a virtual culinary segment.
The festival will conclude with a splendid dance performance featuring renowned Canadian performers and choreographers, Anjali Patil, Aishwarya Vijaykumar, Stuti Mukherjee, Sonia St-Michel, and Julie Beaulieu. This is a ticketed event.
These artists will offer modern interpretations of the age-old artforms of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Odissi Classical Indian Dance. Since this triple bill performance showcases works which range from dynamic and powerful, to intricate and refined. There is something for all to enjoy during this vibrant and culturally diverse experience.
